Hey there, you are obviously here to know how all this started, right? 

My name is Divya Hegde and this is my story. I am an architect by profession. My firm is called Krimsontree (www.Krimsontree.com) and all my works of Architecture and Interior Design are based in India. 

In-Di-Zyn is a dream I saw in broad daylight! I love Designing - be it homes, landscape, cakes or clothing. I am also forever in the process of giving my home a new look – arranging the cushions with new sets of covers, hanging up new sets of drapes, each designed from fabrics that are handpicked during my visits to India. On on such instance, when it was done, my living space looked completely different - enriched with these beautiful hand-block printed fabrics, difference colors and prints, yet all of them coming together seamlessly. I was amazed by the magic of these fabrics.  Looking around I thought, why not bring Indian Prints to Switzerland not just for me but for all fabric lovers out there? And that’s how In-Di-Zyn was born! 

My first batch of fabrics were all hand-printed home décor and upholstery in form of table runners and cushion covers. Being an ardent lover and consumer of cotton and authentic Indian prints, clothing couldn’t be left far behind. 

Beginning my work with a blank paper, pencils and a cup of tea, I spend my mornings, sketching out my designs. The process of designing Clothes been so intriguing - learning from the roadblocks that come in between, improving on them and finally coming up with a perfect design. And then to see this design on the fabric just as I had visualized it, is so fulfilling! I discuss with my vendors and artisans about the colors and the patterns of fabrics that I am keen on, for the designs that I have ready on paper, source them and get my expert Master to tailor them. 

So here I am for you all, with my brand ‘In-Di-Zyn’ - short for ‘Indian-Di-Zyn’ and also ‘Interior-Di-zyn’ – bringing together my love for my home country India and my passion for Interiors and Clothing. In-Di-Zyn's range includes, cushion covers, curtains, table runners and clothing. Here you will find different styles and silhouettes to make you feel beautiful in them. 

BlockPrinting 

Block printing is one of the oldest stamping methods in history and one of the best in India. My prints are handmade by artisans in Rajasthan and Gujarat, India.
I have also begun to volunteer on an absolutely non-profit basis, with the artisans by providing them with contemporary designs of clothing ideas using these fabrics which are in the process of creation.
